Question by Hadyen RUT: What would happen (with young women) if sex work was no longer considered taboo by society?

Not to say that it was necessarily 'encouraged', but that it wasn't discouraged, and was treated as a viable option. How would young women's "morals" reflect this situation- or are their morals (generally) so strong, as many on this forum suggest, that the industry wouldn't see any noticeable rise in applicants?

Their morals are strongly influenced by society standards so if the standards would change, I believe it would no longer be a 'taboo'. This would happen with any other issue and it DOES happen in different cultures today.
