Should I leave my bf if he wants to stop having sex all of a sudden?

We have been together for more than a year now. We have been sexually active since we met and now all of a sudden he wants to stop having sex due to his recent religious beliefs. I do not have the same beliefs. I like having an active sexual relationship with him. I do not think I can be with someone who doesn't want to be intimate with me. What are your opinions? Thanks!
